In the beginning the Frontiers of Flight Museum started showcasing the exhibits of aviation history collected by the famous avian historian Haddaway, from the University of Texas. Since its inception the aviation museum has been showcasing numerous artifacts that depicts the earlier days of the aviation history and even the recent world of aviation. The visitors are mesmerized by the superb artifacts of the modern commercial and military air vehicles. The most fantastic collection is indeed the aerospace vehicles that has been used in the past for some fascinating discoveries in the space.
Even though you will get to see a number of beautiful artifacts but the ones that has been favorite with the visitors are- lighter than air flight, women in aviation and personal as well as business style airplanes. Frontiers of Flight Museum comes with a wide array of educational programmes that takes place at almost every time of the year. Some of the most popular events are- The Wright Place, Once Upon a Flight, Family Days and more. This incredible museum in Dallas remains open from Mondays to Saturdays- 10 am to 5 pm and on the Sundays- 1 pm to 6 pm.
