General aviation refers to all flights other than military and scheduled airline flights including private and commercial. General aviation flights include gliders, powered parachutes, as well as non scheduled cargo jet flights. This airport along with all other airports of United States that serve the purpose of general aviation are controlled by Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. This association accounts for more than one percent of the GDP of United States.
